| After 3 hours of sleep we boarded our flight to Venice. The views as we crossed over The Alps were amazing! Upon arrival, we took a boat to our hotel. The weather couldn't be better. After checking in, we headed out for walk through town. We made our way through the labyrinth of small streets and found San Marco. We stopped for a wonderful lunch in the plaza. Food was great! Atmosphere spectacular! Some beer and wine and it was time for a nap. Forced ourselves to wake up and wandered around and had a wonderful dinner in a tiny restaurant. Now back in the room to try to catch up on our rest. |
