The steps of St. Paul's...where's the bird woman?? I've got tuppins! (Mary...

St. Paul's...cool but I only give it 3 stars

Drinks on the terrace of Aqua Nueva with Terri

Dinner with Terri at Aqua Nueva

A very funny sign I happened upon when checking out my map...

So...we're at the American Bar at the Savoy.

A fabulous dinner preceded by drinks on the patio of a 5th floor restaurant, watching the sunset over the city. A beautiful day. Great to see Terri again before she heads to Poland tomorrow...sounds glamorous but has it's downsides too.

So then I go to my play (thought John would have a dinner but he didn't) and it wasn't very good. So I left at intermission and John met me at the tube station and we took pictures for Ryan who wanted to know what London looks like. Unfortunately, photos just can't do it justice. What a wonderful city!!

Although...not to be a monument snob...but I was so disappointed in St. Paul's. Yes, it's beautiful. But I kept waiting for an old lady to be sitting on the steps selling bread or other bird food for tuppins a bag. Where was the little old bird woman?? Very disappointing!!

Anywho...we've now been kicked out of the American Bar...they close at 12. So we are at the Beaufort Bar...also in the hotel but open longer.

Once we took pictures for Ryan we went to our favorite (ha) the Coal Hole. And we ran into a couple of colleagues so had drinks with them before heading back here. All in all, a lovely evening. Wish we had more time in London but looking forward to Italy!! Too much to see and do...and too little time!!
