From Primrose MH & RV Park - Bryan, TX
We reached Bryan yesterday after a very "WET" drive from Victoria......rain, rain, rain all the way! Then after we got here it just continued to rain all evening and well into today before the sun finally came out about 4 p.m........probably had 3 to 4 inches total over the last two days. Hope the sun decides to make another appearance tomorrow to try and dry things out......Cody is having to wear his "new cling 'n seal boots" way too often lately!
As stated earlier, we have come to Bryan to help my Mom out since she has been spending lots of time at the hospital with my Step Dad 24 hours at a time and then trying to care for him at home all alone. On our way from the RGV, he was again put in the hospital and so really glad we made the decision to come here to help out any way we can.
At the writing of this post, he is doing better than when he was admitted to ICU on Friday. He went to a private room today (Sunday) and Mom is once again spending nights sleeping in the hospital room beside him. We will be here for at least a week helping to get him nursed back to health and home again.....but this time without a set back like the last time he was discharged from the hospital.
The park we are in again is just a place to park and be close to family. Not one that we would frequent again unless like this trip the other RV park we like and stayed in before has no openings and it is a must that we stay in the area. Price is good at $155 for the week but lots of Mobile Homes, long term RVs and with this rain lots of water standing in sites and in common areas! Due to the rain, no photos taken and if we get a chance before we leave we may add some later this week.
However as far as the journal, we will be "Off Grid" for awhile taking care of and helping family. Even when we leave this area, we will be going back to our Pearland home base to finish some needed medical appointments we did not get done in December when last there. We will though be back on the road if all goes well early in April heading for a HitchHiker Rally in the Hill Country of Texas with all the wildflowers in bloom!
Till Later................
