| Saturday - Salt River Park in Scottsdale( home of the Arizona Diamondbacks) to See Seatle vs AZ at 7 pm. The afternoon game would be way too hot. Besides there are fireworks at night. We did some chores in the morning, then we planned how to resolve all the worlds problems in the afternoon. About 4 pm we drove to Scottsdale to eat at the Soup and Salad place(Sweet Tomatoe). I did not think i would bet that full. Every kind of vegetables was available, some pasta, and Deserts! All for one(1) price of $10.99 Then we drove across the street to find parking>>>>>>>>>>>>TICKETS SOLD OUT<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Just drove along ways for dinner, about an hour. Now we will drive an hour to go back to Camelback park(see if ticket Available) and watch LAD vs Sox.Psst(Los Angles Dodgers vs Chicago White Sox) Im getting used to the abbreviations. This is the 3rd game and it was the BEST. Final score 10-6, Home run in the top of the 8th, with 3 ducks on the pond. (4 run homer) One Batter had rookie mistrakes, he swong at the ball & the batt went over the LA dugout on the 3rd base line. Some kid got a momento! Then he did it AGAIN, but into the netting, his head was hung in shame, hecklers were loud and clear. Broken batts flew almost to 2nd base, base grounders over 2nd, double plays, stolen bases, first base SAFE calls, foul balls galore, one fellow had 9 to the stands. The sox had pitching problems late in the game, LAD has strong pitchers, Woohoo. A very long(4 hours) and enjoyable game, after the 2 screamers left. Then fire works began immediatly, that was as good as or better than Halloween at CH high school. Sunday - Brier Party @ the "Brooks"ide Marina & Beier Gartin', that 2 rv spots west. Too FUNNY. |
