ASIS On The Road Again! travel blog

Great little bridge over to the other beach

Relaxing on the beach

What a life!

Pretty clever device to move water!

The wheel as it stand now

Water still runs in the rainy weather

Al and I enjoyed a very leisurely morning eating some porridge that Al cooked. YUM! I love porridge!.

With an infected cut on Al's heal that doesn't seem to be improving, he decides to see a doctor in town today. Nurses take a look and advise him to see the Dr. tomorrow as he is currently working in the hospital.

We walked town, sat at the beach to read for a while and drove to the lighthouse and old water wheel. There are many nice beaches here in town but we liked Flinder's Beach best. Flinder's Caravan park is a very clean, well run, friendly camp ground we would return to next time. The weather here was windy and cool which apparently is unusual for this time of year according to the locals. The cool weather convinced us to move on up the coast tomorrow.
