This was a nice park

Sunset in Texas

Taken at the park

Our day took us 227 miles to Junction, TX. This RV Park, Junction N Llano River RV Park, was one of our nicest surprises of the trip. This park is located right on the Llano River and an old KOA. We had planned to stay for two days and ended up staying four. Loved this place. Covered patios with rocking chairs. Nice big sites and the friendliest staff. Also, besides our Good Sam discount, they gave us an additional 20% off for our stay. A very transient park, with new rigs every night, but it was fun to see where everyone was from. Not many northwest rigs, but a motorhome from Washington did come in one night.

We took some "down" days and just enjoyed relaxing and sitting outside. Weather overall was pretty decent, except the wind blows all the time. We did actually get to eat out one night and sat out most every afternoon. Discovered a good BBQ place and another beautiful state park. We certainly liked the state park system in Texas.

We had a little 5th wheel problem and after contacting Ryan Smith, it has been taken care of. Not that I want to jinx the rest of our trip, but we haven't had any majors problems with trucks or 5th wheels and Lord knows the roads are really rough in some of these states.

We watched a family of ducks go to and from the river every day. You can see it doesn't take much to entertain us. We captured a beautiful sunset and overall loved this park. We will be back here.

Moving on!!
