| Left Miami 5 hours ago and we still have about 1 more hour to go before arriving in New Smyrna Beach in Florida. I love MN so much more. Two months in FL would be the tops for me and only if the Keys were included in that. Why you might or might not be asking, and as the author of this blog I will tell you. Love our seasons (a fireplace helps.) The way we drive is a heck of a lot better. I am able to converse in English with most Minnesotans. We have beautiful lakes. The arts in MN cannot be beat. Perhaps it could be as simple as family and belonging. Continuing on the drive... we are now near Coco Beach by where pieces of the "Challenger" fell. Those pieces that didn't fall into the ocean. Now we are 1 mile from Port Canaveral. Only 40 more miles to go. Mike has more relatives there, so we shall be visiting. The park we are staying in looks to be great! Lots of nature. Maybe a few pounds clan be shed here. This past weekend was fun and hopefully I will go back and blog about staying in the parking lot at Miccosukee Casino in Miami. That is where we went for two days after leaving the FL Keys. |
