| Today was another wonderful Key day. They all are here. THE BEAST AND I ARE HOME! Went to Key West which is about 45 min. from where we are on Big Pine Key. Wanted to take care of things for the b-day girls, Nikki and Marissa, who both have their b-day's in March. We then went to lunch at Sloppy Joe's which is another favorite hang-out's of mine. Perhaps that is because it was a favorite of one of my favorite's, Ernest Hemingway. Granted, Ernest Hemingway had his issue's, but he was a dedicated writer. If I could ever do anything in my lifetime that would make me prouder, other than raising my three wonderful daughters, that would be to be a terrific writer. One whom very few can compare. (At this stage though, I do not think that I am dedicated enough.) So that being said, after we returned to our RV site, we went to the pool. The pool is a difficult place to stay away from here. Everywhere you turn are wonderful people wanting to talk. So we did. After that went to view the sunset on the pier. Looked at the boats and all the fun things people do to personalize their spots here. Good and relaxing day once again. Many more to come before we leave next Saturday. |
