We got up earlier, got dressed and headed out for breakfast. $3.99 for 2 eggs, meat, hashbrowns and toast. Not too bad, huh?
We played for a hour (lost my $29.00), and headed home. Jack and Lois decided to drive down to see our new trailer and Lois and I would go to Dillards for their sale. She and I were in her convertible, listening to Adele on the radio with the sun beating down on our bodies. Heaven.
Lois and I found some great bargains, then back to the trailer to say goodbye to them. She called about 1 hour later saying they had heavy traffic so they stopped at the Casino. We laughed, got off the phone and said "what the heck". We hopped in the car and headed back to the Casino (only 1/2 hour away). It was such fun surprising them. You should have seen the looks on their faces! We had dinner at the Casino, played a bit on the slots then said our goodbye's about 10:30. Got home and crashed. No jackpot..just lots of fun.
What a really great weekend (whoops, us retiree's forget the day of the week).
