Downtown Corpus Christi and the pier

One of the trolleys we caught

Nancy West and I took a trolley tour of Corpus Christi today. A bus picked us up at the campground and took us to Corpus, then we boarded another bus for the trolley station. There we took a trolley around the southern part of Corpus, came back and took another trolley to the northern side. Then back on the bus to take us to the pick-up place for the trip back to the campground. All told, six busses for a total cost of fifty cents! We saw the port of Corpus Christi, a lot of run-down buildings (absolutely no construction going on in town). We ate at P.F. Chang’s for lunch – a nice change from all the fish we’ve eaten. It was a nice day and interesting experience.
