Indianapolis...meh. Louisville, on the other hand, fabulous. The girl and I went to Churchill Downs for a tour of the Kentucky Derby Museum and out for lunch at Churchill Downs while the boys were at the farm and machinery show. Then we all went to the Louisville Slugger Factory and Museum downtown. Addi and Easton took turns holding a bat that Mickey Mantle used in a game, they had to wear special gloves to hold it. Then no-glove sticky finger Parker came along and grabbed the bat before the worker could stop him. Then Addi and Easton had their picture with a realistic looking Mickey Mantel statue and Parker came along and slapped Mickey's leg and climbed underneath Mickey's crotch. You're probably getting the idea. Addi was miffed that all of our taxi drivers today were men, I was miffed that they have to drive like they are having an epileptic seizure, don't they understand the relationship between car sickness and riding the brakes? Anyhow, Louisville was fun and next time I am adding Lexington to the itinerary.
