Nicosia, sunny, hot, bla bla bla.

Tired of tour guides. Tired of tours. Just plain tired.

Look at the pretty pictures. Churches. Mountains. Trees. I don't have anything to add here. Today was uninspiring and brain-deadening.

Went with Rob and Laura to a local coffee shop and had beer and smoked from a water pipe while watching Arabic music videos on the Lebanese satellite channel - we're only 25 minutes by air from Beirut, Tel Aviv, and Cairo. I keep forgetting that. Cyprus, as they keep telling us, is truly the crossroads. Some days it feels so European it feels more like Athens or Madrid or Rome; some days it feels like Israel or Syria.
