So far, Brazil is pretty much what you can expect it to be: beautiful beaches, surrounded by small, cool hostels, big waves and surfers, and...how could I forget, the G-strings! Lots and lots and G-strings and booty, big and small booties, all in G-strings. I feel very much over-dressed. Even the guys wear micro-shorties, I tried to get one for Tim but he says he doesn't want to make the others jealous. But anyway, I spent most of time looking at the women, much more interesting, trying to figure out who has got surgery and who is natural. Tim says he doesn't notice, and that he sleeps most of the time on the beach, but then again, how could I see what goes on behind his sunglasses?
This sums up what we have been doing for the last 6 days in beautiful and relaxed Florianopolis: nice breakfast on the hostel's terrace, looking at the sea, going to the beach for an hour before it gets too hot, going for lunch in a small cafe where you buy food from a buffet by the kilo, falling off a surfboard and patching up Tim's wounds (FR: blessures de guerre, car Tim est un gamin qui ne sait pas s'arreter, meme s'il n'arrivait pas a monter sur le surf), going for our free caipirinhas at the hostel's bar and trying the different types of caipi (with rum is our favourite!). VOILA.
