A classic car in Armadale.....

In singleton we spent the night with our friends Dean & Marika at their home. We enjoyed a yummy bbq and I even ate some fish - yep - it must of been the way Dean cooked it!

It felt nice to sleep in a normal bed again but at the same time a little weird to be in a room! The weather was so hot and humid but we guess it is preparing us for Paraburdoo!

As it was Australia day we all started listening to Triple Js hottest 100 songs of 2011.....unfortunately on our drive up to Toodyay we lost reception and missed the top 10 songs!! We had to message Dean later on to get the results - they werent too surprising as Ben had predicated most of them.

It was nice seeing Toodyay again and great to catch up with Pop & Cindy. Pop drove us out to see the cows, which we hoped Bridget would enjoy, but no, she wasnt too fussed at all by them.

Friday morning and after having an awesome breakfast with Cindys famous Fig Jam we headed to Northam. Whislt in town we had AJ put on a new timing belt and Ben took the opportunity to get some grease on his hands and rotate the tyres. We also walked the town for a couple hours but because it was so hot we almost killed Jameson with exhaustion. This was the second time as on Thursday we did the same to him just by walking to the beach!! He is not a fan of exercise or heat!!!

With a quick hello to Auntie Vicki, Auntie Jen & Uncle Derek we were off to Armadale in Perth.

With the hot weather continuing, poor Bridget suffered through the nights but has since made up with her lost sleep. Ben completed his Fork Lift License over the weekend. Saturday evening we headed down to the local lake to feed the ducks, Bridget once again wasnt too fussed but had a few smiles. I think Ben & I enjoyed feeding the ducks more!! On Sunday we caught up with some old friends, Martin & Chantal. Martin actually first introduced Ben to Upholstery and was very impressed to think he may have had a hand in turning Ben from a Graphic Designer to a fully fledged Upholsterer!!

Monday we caught up with my cousing Melinda and her gorgeous kids - it had been at least 6 years since we had seen each other, so of course plenty to catch up on!!

It was so nice staying with Donna & Adam - the newly weds - we dont always get the chance just to chat and chill without a purpose!

Over the last fews days Jameson has met up with 3 dogs and got along smoothly with two dogs. Its good to know that off the leash he can actually behave!!

Also over the last few days our music and tv show collection has tripled due to many illegal operations between friends!!

Whilst tripping around the country side and our few days in Armadale we travelled 500km.
