Final few days and an emotional goodbye to JennyJan 25, 2012

Our last few days in North America were spent at Charlie and Melanie's. On the Sunday we had an enjoyable get together with friends of C & M's many we have met before either in Florida or Nova Scotia.
Monday and Tuesday saw us preparing for taking Jenny to Susan on Wednesday with getting supplies of her special diet food and two months supply of drugs. We also gave her a trim and brush up so at least she was respectful.
Wednesday was an emotional day when we took Jenny to Sue and Riley's. We spent a couple of hours with Sue and Riley allowing time for Jenny to get familiar with her new surroundings. Jenny took a real shine to Riley. She also surprised us by having a run around the garden as if she was a puppy again. We said an emotional good bye. We think and hope she will settle in her new home. We know Sue and Riley will look after her.
