Every night while we are gone at dinner we get a different animal made from the clean towels in our room. There are 40 different designs our cabin stewards can design so we’re hoping for about 15 different designs anything from monkeys to crabs, birds to dogs. There is a formal night once a week with different themes attached like Silver and White Ball and Copacabana, my mom and I get to put on our most glamorous dresses and cruise the decorated night away.
We dine with two other couples, one Jack and Betty, from Anchorage Alaska and the other, Jack and Ann, from North Carolina. Both have pretty amazing pasts, presents and futures. Jack from Anchorage was a civil engineer for the Alaskan railroad. Betty, his wife, was a special education teacher, who has taught all around the state from schools to juvenile detention centers. Jack from North Carolina along with his wife, Ann, owned their own heating and cooling company in New York City, with prestigious clients like James Earl Jones and Mary Tyler Moore.
Since leaving Buenos Aires Jack and Ann have left the ship to go back home and we are awaiting to see who are next table mates will be, they definitely have some big shoes to fill. Next is Montevideo on the 25th, my mom and I are hoping to score some cheap wine, what we’ve been told is that it’s $5 dollars a bottle we’ll see what happens!
