It was a beautiful sunny day as we gathered for breakfast at the hotel. After getting all of the luggage loaded on the bus, we were off to the Everglades. We made a short stop at the Everglades Safari Park where some did a little shopping and others checked out the alligators. Then we were off to Johnny Tigertail's airboat adventures. Johnny Tigertail is a Miccosukee Indian who loved showing off his native lands. We loaded up in several airboats and were off to one of the little islands. We got to hold some baby alligators and learned about some of the other wildlife in the area. Then we were off to another island on the airboats. Our driver found a couple of alligators in the "river of grass" which is another name for the Everglades. Johnny Tigertail showed us some of his "pet" alligators that he has had since he was a boy. After the airboat ride, we headed back to Ft. Lauderdale to the cruise ship port. Once there, we got checked in and began exploring the ship. We sailed at 4:00 p.m. heading south out of Ft.
