| Hi all, More snow overnight and today - yay! Tim ventured onto the slopes and Jack has Day 2 of snowboarding lessons. It seems that his group lesson turned into a private lesson as no-one else wanted to brave the cold - lucky Jack! Max, Sarah and I have been cruising around town discovering new shops, chatting with friendly shop owners, and eating some yummy food too. Our latest discovery is a 'beignet' which is basically a blob of doughnut batter filled with a choice of Snickers, Oreo cookies, praline, etc, etc. You can then choose a chocolate, caramel or strawberry dipping sauce.....not fattening at all! A couple of days ago the kids had a go at Adventure Ridge which is a kids snow park up on the mountain. They had an hour of riding those inflatable tubes very quickly down the snow lanes - very fun. All of our skiing continues to improve, hopefully tomorrow should be a great day with fresh, new snow and sunshine.... |
