Day1;
Cody's got the munchies all packed. I have $90,300 and the McDonalds coupons in my wallet. We don't care if we lose the money... Just not the coupons! Anyway, we left at 4am. We booked our hotel at 12pm, after touring the city. We each got a room, seperated by a wall. There was a 50 inch plasma T.v in both rooms, a mini fridge, a kitchen and a bathroom. Good deal for $120, eh? We sat in the hotel for about 4 hours. When we left, we went to the CN Tower, a landmark of Canada. 7:30pm, hockey time! It was the Battle of Ontario. Toronto won against Ottawa 7-1, with James Reimer stopping 54 out of 55 shots faced. Phil Kessel and Joffrey Lupal both scored hat-tricks, with Nikolai Kulemin scoring 2 goals, making his total on the season 12 goals. The Maple Leafs moved up the rankings from 6th in the east, 7th in the league, to 2nd in the league, 1st in the eastern conference. The only goal scored by Ottawa was pure luck. Reimer couldn't get his trapper on it, and Nick Foligno poked it in. Our next stop is Vancouver BC. Were going to leave Hotel Le Germain, in Maple Leaf Square. We will see Boston facing Vancouver for bragging rights, and hopefully Vancouver can find some redemption on Brad Marchand of the Bruins for the low hit on Sami Salo. Salo still hasn't returned. Marchand was suspended by Brandon Shannahan 5 games. Hopefully Vancouver can find the redemption it's looking for. We intend to take a plane to Vancouver, leaving the hotel at 4:30am, and reaching Vancouver for 9:30-10am.
