Max and Sass after a great day at ski school
| Day one is done....I was a bit nervous initially as I haven't skied for 2 years so I put myself in quite an easy group lesson but by the end of the day it had all come back to me and I have been moved up 2 groups - go me! It was a beautiful sunny day, snow was a bit icy in patches, quite similar to Perisher on a good day! The enormity of the mountain and the number of runs is incredible. Max and Sarah both had a ball with lovely teachers, poor Jack though had to be transported down the mountain in a sled in the afternoon as he had a bit of altitude sickness. Feeling a bit better now, and hopefully will be okay in the morning. Tim got a few runs in but spent a great deal of the day trying to revive his broken laptop. Our limo driver in Vegas dropped it and it seems to have died. Tim wants to trade from here (can't keep him away!) so is a bit upset as you can imagine! He has managed to borrow a laptop from a friend of a friend that lives here but it is a bit of an antique laptop.... Probably won't post everyday now as we will be doing pretty much the same thing everyday, don't worry though I will let you know if we do anything out of the ordinary or if anything super-duper happens! xP |
