| Well, we are finally here - Vail - the main reason for our big holiday. We spent the day basically getting organised for the next three weeks of skiing so tomorrow we will be ready to hit the slopes. The kids are going into ski school, I think I may have a group lesson just to get my ski legs going and Tim will be free to roam the mountains. We have already bumped into an Australian family from Curl Curl we know, so I'm sure he will find many more friends on the slopes. Our apartment is great, it is absolutely huge - we have got room if anyone would like to come over for a quick visit?! We are very well located just off the main drag where all the shops and restaurants are. There is also an ice-skating rink, bowlng alley and cinema located very nearby. The village is so beautiful, I will have to spend a day roaming all of the shops of course! I think we will be very happy here...........just need fresh snow please! |
