To start off our day, Katherine and I made a pact to "clean the cars" first thing in the morning - therefore, we held each other for getting this "not-so-pleasant" chore taken care of. My truck gets so much grass, gravel and dirt in it from getting in from park campsites that it is filthy. Plus, I haven't Windex-ed the inside of the windows in way too long; they have that film on them that makes it really hard to see at night. So, I emptied all of the extra junk and trash out before I went to Katherine's house. Once there, we used the Windex, wet rags and the Shop Vac to finish up the nasty chore. Wow! the cars looked great on the inside once we finished. And, as usual, I vowed to work to keep it that way since I always like it being clean! When we finished, we were starving. We went to Fuego's, a local College Station independent version of Fuzzy's, but better. I got two tacos: a vegetable taco that had onions, peppers, corn, beans, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and avocado (fantastic and so filling that I should have stopped after the one) and a grilled beef taco (I only ate the insides; I was too full for all of it). Then, Katherine and I had Christmas elf work to take care of. I got some done before working on the car, but we had lots more to do once we were together. We went to Pier 1 and Bed, Bath & Beyond. Katherine saw several things that she liked at Pier 1, so I had to work in a trip later in the day without her to keep her presents a surprise. We wanted to go to a movie, but just didn't have enough time. We gathered at BJ's Brewhouse for the Tuesday Happy Hour specials and met with friends Cathy and Kathy. We had a great day and tomorrow we head for "home" to visit with friends and family during Christmas.
