|The adventure begins......
After Christmas with the Leicester and Everingham mobs (special thanks to the chefs - Cath&Nick, Ron&Ed), we are now in Manchester airport sipping eggnog latte as we wait for our first flight to Abu Dhabi.
Traditional English food will soon be replaced by spicy Indian cuisine - and due to the overindulgence in meat in the last 48 hours (beef, lamb, turkey, pork, pheasant, venison, pigeon and squirrel (yes really!)) and because you can never be sure what is served in a curry, we are planning on going veggie for the trip.
The first four nights we are in the Holiday Inn in Kochi free of charge! Well courtesy of Holiday Inn points we have accumulated - c£150 per night!! It is in the business district so a bit out of the main tourist area but it has a pool and I can't believe that rickshaw cabs aren't cheap! So after arriving at 4am tomorrow, a chill out by the pool will be called for. Apparently it is sunny and 33 degrees there currently..... starting to get a bit excited!!!!
