Dear family, friends, prayers and supporters,
We want to wish each one of you a blessed Christmas with your family & friends and God's blessings for the coming year of 2012, from our hospital to your home.
As you can see on the photos we are in a celebratory spirit with a Christmas tree and flowers. We thank God for sending his Son to this earth to be both God and man, to understand what we all go through, and to become our Saviour. We don't have to look far to realize that we are richly blessed with family, friends, prayers and supporters!
This year Jim didn't experience the best of health, but we are thankful he is still with us, his condition has been figured out, he survived the 2 open-heart surgeries, and is on the mend. He has spent time in physio walking and doing exercises to get his muscles back. He is eager to get back his strength, so his spirits are pretty positive now. Thanks so much for your prayers for these things.
So now the weaning off the trach and praying and trusting that his kidneys start working better. He still gets tired very quickly, so the 4 to 5 days off at Christmas will be filled with family visits with gifting, seeing visitors, and getting some "time off" to rest.
We so much appreciate each and every one of you and Jim always asks who sent messages. May God bless you Christmas season.
Love, Joan and Jim from VGH
