Unplanned Free Day...Dec 10, 2011

| Hola everyone, Today turned out to be an unplanned free day. Unplanned because originally I was suppose to do a day trip to Cozumel. The tour package that I had chosen was canceled due to the Harbor Master over in Cozumel canceling all water activities. Something about the water being rough. I don't mind that they canceled the tour because I'll get a 100% refund, and I needed to recoup from yesterday's tour. What I do have a problem with is that they did not contact me at the resort to let me know ahead of time. They waited until we got to the drop off point and told us after about an hour that our particular tour was canceled...which sucked. As I was still a bit tired from yesterday's long day, I could have lounged around here a bit longer without having to get dressed so early. On a different note, because I planned my meals based on the number of days that I would be here at the resort, I decided to go "all inclusive" again today. Had I not done this, I would be one day of meals short because I was supposed to be touring all day,...and I really didn't feel like having to go back to WalMart. Since I had nothing else planned, I hopped back in bed, napped for about an hour, got up, went down for lunch, and then sat by the pool for about an hour in my swimwear. I will have dinner at the resort's upscale restaurant again tonight. I so hate it when my schedule gets thrown off. As I have things planned for the remainder of days that I here, I will not get to Cozumel this trip,...maybe next time. Outside of the short tour that I am supposed to take tomorrow,...I'm done with the tours. However, stay tuned for more entries and pics. I'm here for a little while longer. Angela |
