| This NOMAD couple is only working 3 of the 4 days this week as we wrapped up our week today in grand style. We are heading to Utica NY (via Syracuse) for Don and Jeanne's son Ryan and his wife Kristina's US reception. They were married a couple of weeks ago in Jamaica so for those who could not go they are having a reception and a weekend of fun. We will be back in Tucson Sunday. But before we head off we all worked today in a few locations. Sheri, Jeanne, Charlie and Shirley continued to work on the two apartments a mile or so from here. It appears they may be complete tomorrow. Lots of painting, floor prep and putting back fixtures. Gary worked on the TMM campus putting in heat and air filters and fixing things that through use have become "shop worn". I had the best day. TMM received two large donations of non perishable food and there was a lot of it. Shirley had taken all the food down stairs below the dining hall a few days ago. I sorted it all and put it up on shelves. I really love this kind of work and the pantry looks as good as Publix shelves. I will try and continue the blog from my phone the next 3 days as time permits. Enjoy the pics. |
