| We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with our friends Carolyn and John in High Springs. We are now by Orlando in the TT at Clermont, FL. Weather was a little cold at the start of the week (60's) but now it is beautiful. No mosquitos, thankfully. I got tired of having a traveling library in my RV - so I broke down and bought a Barnes & Noble Nook. I couldn't really decide between the Kindle and the Nook but I went to Consumer Reports and they said that the Nook had the most readable screen that they had ever seen. They also said that it was very easy to download books from the public libraries to the Nook also Barnes & Noble has thousands of free books that you can download to the Nook. So far it is working perfectly. There was a little operator error at first but things are fine now. Went to Bingo the other night and won $35. - so that was a surprise. We are trying to decide whether we want to buy a new RV or have this one remodeled on the inside. So we have been going to some RV dealers just to look at the 2012 models. We are also going to a place in Lakeland which remodels the interior just to try some ideas and get a quote on the work that we would like done. Next Wednesday, 12/7 we leave for Bahia Honda in the keys. |
