| Today Jeff and I celebrated our 43rd wedding anniversary. Hard to believe it's been that long, seems like only yesterday we drove up to Illinois to get married at the Great Lakes Naval Station's Forrestal Chapel. We're really doing our anniversary celebration in a few weeks when we take off for a Las Vegas holiday. We drove out to Lewisville to meet up with Jeff's brother Wayne and sister Robin (who was also having a birthday today) along with their spouses Cindy and Nelson respectively, in order to visit with Jeff's Uncle Jack and Aunt Gerry. They will be celebrating their 69th wedding anniversary this year on Christmas Day - made us feel like spring chickens! We had a nice lunch with Jeff's cousin Sandy and some good family time with Jack and Gerry. |
