| We woke this morning to the sound of heavy rain on the roof. It didn't let up until after lunch and has showered several times this afternoon. Just a raw ugly day. It was 70 degrees at 8:30am and has fallen all day. It is now 55 degrees and I have the infrared heater on. Just watched the weather and it is supposed to be in the 30's every night this week and highs only in the 50's. I think we need to hurry and go farther south. We are paid up for 10 more days, but I don't know if we will last that long. Jackie went to church this morning, but I just couldn't make myself go out in that torrential rain, so I stayed home and watched Hallmark channel movies. It was raining so hard we didn't have satellite until about 12:30. I have several taped on the DVR. I want to go to Foley and do some Christmas shopping this week if the weather isn't too bad. And I still want to go to the beach too. Come on weather....work with me here!!!! I did get my little Christmas tree up and running today. It is so cute sitting on the dash and I made it myself. It's raining again, so I think I'll call it a day and just listen to it. Life is very good!!!! God bless you all..... |
