Some of you have made contact wondering where we are and what we are doing. All I can say is that since we left Camp Verde, we have been very busy but not as tourists. We moved from Camp Verde to Prescott Valley where we spent our time checking out the area as a potential living destination or at least home base. On November first we moved to a “snowbird” RV park that we visited in March of last year. It took a little longer to set up since we will be “wintering” here for probably 5 months. We then spent a couple days at the new home of our Canadian friends getting it ready for their arrival and then helping them get settled in. We have found an excellent dentist for some dental work we have been putting off for a few months, and Tony also got new hearing aids. It is amazing how technology has improved since he got his last pair.
Since Trudy and Garry live 37 miles from where we are and are also along the route we take for medical services, they have designated a bedroom for us; the closet is beginning to show our regular presence. They have definitely adopted us as family; we feel very fortunate to have such wonderful friends/adopted siblings to spend time with during the winter. We hope to take some day trips with them to show them some of our discoveries in the area.
FYI - We do have a temporary, local address. It is:
Tony/Sue Neville Box 52
Saddle Mt RV Park
40902 West Osborn Rd
Tonopah, AZ 85354
We wish each of you a meaningful Advent Season, a joyous Christmas, and a wonderful New Year. Once our adventures begin again, we will let you know where our travels have taken us.
