First Time at a Kid Rock Concert travel blog

I went to see the uber-popular Kid Rock over the summer at Verizon Wireless Music Center in Noblesville, Indiana, and let me tell, his performance blew me away. I sat in the lawn so I wasn't up-close to all the stage theatrics, but even from my vantage point it was clear to see the extravagance -- multiple stripper polls on a tiered stage, huge bull horns coming out of the drummer's kit, pyrotechnics galore ... it was awesome. His set list ranged from classic rock/rap hits like Bawitdaba, to modern mellow songs like Born Free. He also melded-in cover songs like Rush's Tom Sawyer and other songs that spanned multiple genres. The crowd was loving every minute of the show, and the majority of them sang along to all the songs. All in all, I couldn't have had a better time, and I'm just glad my friend Sharon gave me free Kid Rock Tickets, otherwise I never would have seen his awesome act in person. Will definitely in the lawn whenever he comes back!
