| Hi all!! After arrival in Belem on Tuesday 15th I met a German woman called Nikki and we decided to head a nearby island for a couple of days. It was a three hour boat trip and then 2 hours on the bus to get to Soure which is a small town in the middle of a festival when we arrived. The next couple of days were spent milling about the town and, on the Friday a trip that involved a ride on a buffalo, a walk along a river beach and a boat trip. The island is very pretty and covered with trees. There´s not much else to report at the moment excpet that I´m now in Jeri (update on that to follow) after about 4 days of travelling...
