| Many RV'ers say that their plans are written in "jello". - Well, that is our case. We had intentions of departing to southern NM the day after Thanksgiving but we are now pulling out on Thanksgiving day. We were planning on eating our turkey at one of the casinos as they all have a marvelous buffet, and Judy mentioned that we could eat our turkey and also spend the night at Casino Hollywood at San Felipe Pueblo. They have many RV sites they offer for $10 a night, that's where we had stayed for 10 days when we were closing on our home. So this means that the first leg of our winter trip will be about 25 miles south, not enough to gain any warmer weather but it's a start. - The main reason for a day early departure is they are calling for rain on Friday. We will already be hooked up and ready to roll down the highway early Friday morning and 4 hour later we will arrive at Caballo Lake RV Park. I'm hoping that we will beat the rain, God willing. - Our 3 dogs are also full of anticipation, every time I carry "stuff" to the RV they are at the door waiting to see if they are "the next things" to be loaded. I have told them again and again that they are going to be last but they still stand by the door looking up at me with their big brown eyes.
