New Friends and a dog - Nov 13, 2011 - Mojave National Preserve, California, United States

I was able to upload the photos for Nov 12 entry and I am sure you want to see the wonderful pie and check out the ladies, so go back to yesterday and check them out.

We had a lovely day. Our neighbors down the road in the campground invited us for football, snacks and drinks. What a nice couple! Louise and Garry Sparks, from Sacramento. He is on an 18 month assignment working with the wind turbines. He is an expert and is called to work all over the world. How exciting that must be? Louise is a sweetheart and I enjoyed talking with her very much, while the guys talked about jobs, football and RVing. They have a beautiful golden retriever who loved being petted. When you stopped, he would stare at you for a minute, making sure your were done and then would lay down and pretend to sleep. He would keep one eye open in case a hand came close to him,or if he decided it was time to be petted again. He was such a cutie.

We hope to see them again sometime in Arizona this winter while we are there.
