Relaxing by the fire
| Tho we live and travel fulltime in our Airstream some days are not much different than those spent in a stix and brix. The biggest difference is we get to do our chores in beautiful locations that can change at our whim! So the last two days have been spent doing mundane things......cleaning, grocery shopping, cleaning up the truck, washing clothes.....just things the average person does any day of the week. But.....at the end of the day we can sit outside and enjoy a roaring fire as we watch a sunset over the lake. Or be surprised by deer at our campsite. Or walk outside and hear the chorus of over 50 white herons, blue herons and woodstorks as they fly end to tell us goodbye! When we first started RVing....and in our case Airstreaming....we met many long time Airstreamers. They knew of our love of traveling and they all gave us some sound advice. Do it while you can. Don't wait until its too late. We have just celebrated our second anniversary on the road. We have the freedom to be or go where our hearts lead us. We still love this lifestyle. There is more to see, more to do and more to be surprised by. We can't wait to find out what is over the next hill or around the next curve. So we are off for another adventure.....follow along with us. Until next time...... |
