We are concerned that you may not all be getting the e-mails alerting you of our trip journal entry - any chance you could all e-mail so that will let us know who is getting it and who not.

Pat's birthday spent as follows :- We spent the night on board a boat - the Milford Mariner on Milford Sound and we were up early for breakfast at 7 as the cruise out to the sea started then. The previous night we were anchored in a bay, where before a very good dinner we went out in small boats and saw penguins.

Once up and breakfasted we spent the next 2 hours cruising, returning to the harbour at 9 am. We felt like the day was half over!

We then got our luggage from the hostel in Milford Sound and drove - 2 hours to Te Anau - we then went on another boat trip to the glow worm caves - very dark - apart from the light of the glow-worms also very noisy with underground waterfalls. No photos - not allowed!

We then started on a four hour drive across the country to Dunedin - well actually Otago. We had bacon butties for dinner - all the pub could rustle up - too late!

Today have seen a sea lion on the beach, albatross in the sky and courting! and penguins sitting on their eggs.

Finished with fish and chip supper

Hope you are not bored with our stories

Love to all
