Well, we are in Bakersfield. We are staying at Orange Grove RV Park. We used to come here with the Dust Devils RV Club. It’s a really nice park, about the only thing that would make it a 10 would be concrete patios and picnic tables. The place was carved out of an old orange grove, hence the name. There are still a lot of orange trees here, and this year they are loaded with oranges. Too bad they won’t be ripe until the end of December.

We are here to spend some time with Kathie’s friend Sharon. They used to work together a High Desert Medical. We enjoyed having dinner with her at her favorite Mexican place. Of course after dinner we had to go for ice cream. Was a good evening. We really enjoyed spending time with her.
