Katarina and friend dancing at the Elberta German Sausage Festival

The other band that plays at the Elberta German Sausage Festival

Leaving the coach in Navarre, Eddi, myself, Diane (my ex), and granddaughters Julian and Katarina drove over to Elberta, AL to attend their German Sausage Festival. They hold the festival twice a year to support the Volunteer Fire Department and other organizations. It is held the last Saturdays in March and October. There is no charge to get in. There are a lot of vendors and a very lot of good food, not just German Sausage. I will say that they do sell a whole lot of sausage. They had two bands playing, one by the 'beer garden', the other at the pagoda. Katarina got out to dance at the pagoda with several different partners. A good time was had, but we think the next time, it will be an adults only affair.
