We have come full circle and are in the same campground we started in when we left Mesa. We had gone through their 90 minute presentation when they tried to sell us a membership in their resort. We didn’t buy, but ended up with a free camping certificate for 50 nights camping. The only problem is you only get so many in each zone and the only zone we will be using is this one. We have 4 free nights coming and we paid for the other 2 nights so we can stay here and not have to move again until we head to the valley.
We got here at 11:45 and got set up, turned on the AC and sat inside the rest of the day staying cool. The next day, Tuesday, we looked for summer jobs on the internet. Yesterday, Wednesday, we found a job in the Black Hills we were interested in and tried to email our application, but it didn’t go through. I will have to call back and check the email address. We found another job in the Black Hills, but we have to get a resume ready first. It clouded up and rained while we were working and turned pretty cool. Around 5:00 we walked up to the book exchange library and found a few books to exchange. We had planned on grilling chicken breast, but neither one of us wanted to go out in the cold damp weather so it was everyone for themselves for dinner.
Today, we have to get our resume made up and sent off for the 2nd job we found. We are holding the job in Iowa at Adventureland in reserve in case we don’t find something in the Black Hills. Nice to have a fallback plan.
