Hawaiian Ironman and New York travel blog

The big question today is .... Will it snow tmrow?  The guy that worked with me today on the food line says yes.  Something about licking my finger and holding it up in the air! He was feeling the chill since he had just cut seversl inches off his dreadlocks. I enjoyed his informative chatter. He is friendly with many of the food recipients and sees their many ups n downs, especially thru the freezing winter.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art (Met) was an amazing place to spend a really wet and cold day! It's huge. Really huge! The variety of artifacts would take days to see and even longer to describe here. You will just have to visit NY and see for yourself!

I was advised to check out the Whole Foods supermarket while in town. Well, this shop is foodies heaven and only 5mins from us. Huge compartments of cheese, fish, meats, whole areas of antipasti, fresh and packaged food, help yourself to a variety of homebaked cookies (thank you, I did!), chocolate (eyes averted), every type of bread and about 15 barrels of hallucinagenic coffee beans. Thats just the beginning! There are ready made hot n cold dishes and a caffeteria!

Gilly arrived last night like an energetic whirlwind of woolly cap, thongs and a large Aussie flag. She has left with Marg n Stephen to visit the Met and I have elected to take time out while waiting for Sue to arrive.  Sleep was elusive for me last night as, for the 2nd time this week, the Hells Angels started their day at 10pm, yelling, clapping and laughing until about 2am.

Hope this finds everyone in their own bubble of happiness, (and ready to rock Noosa)

Luv Me x
