In the morning we took a nice walk and visited Santa Marie Segreta church. It has a lovely courtyard in the middle. We went on a tour in the afternoon, visiting the Cenacolo, home of Leonardo DaVinci's "Last Supper", attached to Santa Maria dell Grazie. We had tickets to see the "Last Supper". The area is very secure. You have to enter through several chambers, waiting until the doors to the next chamber open, finally leading into the room in with the painting. It is painted on a whole wall. It has recently been restored. We were allowed only 15 minutes in the room. We visited Sforza Castle and the museums within. Many interesting rooms of artifacts. We could have spent more time in there but they were closing. We also visited La Scala the famous opera house and walked through the famous Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, a shopping area built between 1865 and 1877. Awesome. And the we visited the magnificent Duomo. Unfortunately we were not allowed to take pictures of the Last Supper.
