| We have made it to Biloxi for a short stay at the Elks Lodge here. They have water and Elect. for a donation of $10. per night. We are setup in a grove of Cypress with the gulf of Mexico to our left and a cemetery behind and to our right. After our arrival yesterday we cleaned up and headed into Gulf port, MS. to the Blow Fly Inn for lunch. Those of you that follow the Food Network show Diners, Drive-In's and Dives this place was on that show. The food was great as advertised, shrimp and grits to die for followed by a sea food pasta also the best. Well fed we drove back along the ocean and stopped at a couple of Casino's. Barb was a weiner and I the loser. Tomorrow we head out for our next stop near Houston and then into Mission by Saturday. |
