We stopped over for a night at the Willow Beach Corps of Engineers park just NE of Little Rock. We have stayed here before, and every time we stop, I wish we had more time. The park is so nice - big wide sites, beautifully wooded and yet we can still get satellite signal. Lots of wildlife for Madison - a couple of years ago, she was after the armadillos who live in the brush behind the site, and I swear when she got out this time, she remembered that they were here because she took out after the same place.
But unfortunately we do have a time crunch in that we have to be in Nacogdoches for coach maintenance before Monday, so one day will have to do this time.
When I got up this morning, the weather was crisp, and Madison breathed out little puffs of fog as she walked. The warm water was surrounded with whirls of fog and made for a delightful walk and some nice pictures. We leave this morning reluctantly.
