Snake River Grill in Hagerman

Fantastic Idaho Trout

Incredible Idaho Sturgeon

What difference a day makes. We had a tough drive to Rock Springs the day before and a very windy night, but the weather was fantastic for driving the next day. No wind and sunny all the way from Rock Springs thru Utah into Idaho. We stopped for the night at a small campground in Wendell (the self proclaimed "Hub of Magic Valley") off of I-84. The owner recommended a restaurant in Hagerman along the Snake River that we considered. We ended up driving to Twin Falls to see the canyon, which was spectacular. Then we went driving to find a restaurant and decided to go another 30 miles to Hagerman as recommended. What a find. The restaurant was not crowded at all, but the food was really good with a great menu. We ended up going for local fish rather than the alligator or other non-local fair. We passed on the red meat to eat a little healthier. I would have to rate the portions a 10 and the quality as an 8. So, this is one of the best restaurants we have gone to on the trip so far.
