We were shocked by the sheer beauty of the sail into Korcula. I don't know what I expected from Croatia--but beautiful water and mountains wasn't it! We toured the quaint town of Korcula for a few hours before riding out to see the country side and taste some great local wines and cheeses! The fishbone shaped streets of Korcula were designed to provide the town with plenty of clean fresh air and act like an air conditioning in the summer months! Not the best for getting around, However! The star of this day was the beautiful mountain views and deep blue water up and down the coastline! It was amazing and surprising! This is definitely an area that Cheryl and I will put on the future travel list to return.
