Davis Family Journey across America travel blog

Left Custer South Dakota this morning with a brief stopover at an Antler and hide shop.. picked up a few trinkets for the kids... racoon hat for Gabriel, Buffalo tails for the girls and a rattlesnake head for gabriel... Very smooth day with nice sunshine for our 320 miles over to Sheridan Wyoming.. half way point to Yellowstone.. got in around 5pm with a few minutes to unwind in the playground with the kids and watch a few hunters in the campground skinning and dressing their deer..Gaby and Chloe were very interested to see the action.... ventured into Sheridan that night to see the town... A beautiful old western town with a JC Penny on the main street still looking like it came out of the early 1900s... had a nice dinner in town at the Wyoming Chop House... It was an early night to get ready for the next leg to Yellowstone...
