|We stopped for a couple days in one of our favorite southwest cities, Las Cruces, taking the opportunity to continue our cleanup in preparation for storing our motorhome after we unload it at home. That's things like empty drawers and clean them up, clean windows inside, wipe down cabinetry, etc. Larry finished waxing the motorhome here so that's done for a while. Yes, he waxes that great big motorhome all by himself! Always has and probably always will. We have a favorite Mexican restaurant in Las Cruces (Andele's) that we make sure we get to everytime we're here. They moved to a larger, new location which we knew was going to happen so were anxious to try it out. Their new digs were really nice and the food was as good as it has always been. So it's a thumbs up as far as we're concerned! A few pictures here are from the plaza in Mesilla which is on the west side of Las Cruces. This is one of the few plazas left in the state that appears as it did in the early years. The buildings have been preserved in order to exhibit their original styles and forms. It's a neat little square and fun to walk around visiting all the little shops or stop for a bite to eat or sip on a cool beverage.
