|This morning we left Zanesville, Ohio and we drove to our current location in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Arriving around 1300. The campground is called Sugar Creek and is located in a secluded area on the north side of town. We stayed at this campground two years ago during our trip to Washington, DC. We didn't recognize that we had been here before until we got on the north side of town and started down a downgrade and bridge where there is a very sharp turn into the campground entry. We have full service with 50 amp power.
The trip was a relatively easy trip except for the traffic around Columbus, Ohio and Indianapolis, Indiana. The Columbus problem was the result a tank truck accident and explosion which has closed two of the major roads of Columbus. The problem in Indianapolis was the result of ongoing construction on the I465 bypass. This construction project has been ongoing for more than two years and it doesn't seem like it will be completed anytime soon.
We continue to be pestered by stink bugs and we are afraid we may have problems with them for sometime to come. In addition to the stink bugs we are both trying to shake off colds.
The weather is good, with sunny skies and temperatures in the 80's and relatively low humidity. It has cooled down to the upper 50's at night but it may not get as cool tonight as our elevation has dropped significantly. We continue to see the effects of autumn as the leaves are turning more and more each day and some of the colors are spectacular.
That is all for now,
