The new Tide commercial

Our stay in Ooty was relaxing. It was great to get out of the heat, the noise, and the pollution. We wanted to take in a round of golf, but they didn't have left handed clubs. Grrr. Instead, we went horse riding around the lake.

The slower pace was a welcome relief too and we were able to catch up on our journals and do some chores (aka laundry). Unfortunately, because it was so much cooler up here, the laundry needed a little bit of help drying. We got a heater for the room (in India!!) and strung our lines across it. It reminded us of the time we did laundry in Morocco and we had to laugh. (Wow, Morocco seems so far away now!!!).

Nigel also battled the line ups to get us tickets all the way to Darjeeling. He arrived at 7:30 hoping to get a jump on the line as the office opened at 8. However, there were already 6 people in line ahead of him. When he finally made it to the front of the queue, the system crashed. Too funny. Anyways, the long and the short of it, we got our tix, 3 hours later. Yay!
