| Depart: Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, China Arrive: Pingliang, Gansu Province, China Overnight: Pingliang Hotel - So for the second time, I said goodbye to Jen on this trip. She left at 5am to catch her flight to London via Beijing. This time, however, I don't think she'll be joining the trip for a 3rd time. She'll be going to Tallin in Estonia with her sister on Saturday. - It also where both trucks part - our truck to move onto Beijing, while the other goes to Hong Kong. We lose or fearless leader Russ, to other truck and gain "Veggie" Mike in exchange, will Mak takes over the leadership reins. - It was mostly a drive day as we head back to Pingliang, to go to KongTong mountain on the following day. We checked into the decent Pingliang hotel. A few of us had some very cheap beers (2 Yuan = 25 cents each!) then Joyce and I had some tasty BBQ fish before heading to bed. |
